Thom, Most definitely, but it has been a while since I used this feature.
We used to have a database with a PHP front-end that used Oterro as the database driver. A trigger on a table would launch another R:BASE process to print reports to PDF files which were then presented to the web user. This was done back in the 7.0 days, I think, and I don't believe I even have the code around any longer. How about trying to launch "cmd.exe /c test.bat" Emmitt Dove Manager, Converting Applications Development Evergreen Packaging, Inc. I can get it to work in my local RBase 7.6 environment but Oterro does not seem to execute the launch. Oterro executes the stored procedure/trigger nicely it but it doesn't execute the "launch test.bat" DOS command file that I need the stored procedure to run. Will Oterro execute a UDF if I convert the batch file to a UDF of some sort? Any comments are welcome.
