Alastair, Take a close look at the initial setting when an UNLOAD/LOAD command is used to UNLOAD/LOAD database, table structure with or without data. Opening the file in R:BASE Editor (with Syntax Highlighting) should provide you with some blue's clues. Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
