It is pretty much SOP for an employer to conduct a background check these days, and the information you list is commonly required. However, I would suggest that you have the right to know more about the services you will be providing, the rate of pay, etc., prior to providing the information and agreeing to the check. I've not heard of an employer requiring that kind of information before they will discuss the position with a prospective candidate, unless, of course, the government is involved. Now I'm kinda okay with this because this SEEMS to be a legit company. However I have nothing stating they are going to pay for my services and the rate, what those service will be, and length of service time, would I be unreasonable to requests this (and make it contingent on whether I pass the check) BEFORE I allow some stranger poke around my personal information?
