I may be wrong, but the need to use 2000 as an intermediary between DOS and any
of the current versions is limiting 2000 will not connect to databases with the
newer indexing scheme.

If there is a way to go directly from DOS and skip 2000 I would certainly like
to know.

Hi.

May I ask why you stay with 7.6. Maybe it is an good idea to start with
R:BASE 9.0 (32) or (64).

We are finally taking the steps to convert our DOS applications over to 7.6

I have two questions, since I seem to have lost the docs I thought I had
saved.

1. Where can I find the most complete document on the forms/reports
conversion process?

2. Taking the 1st step of converting from DOS to 2000, the fields in a dos
region are still on the form, but not on the tiered region that was created.
I tried dragging them there but that didn't work.

What is the least labor intensive way to fix this kind of thing?

Thanks
Dennis McGrath
