Dennis, I haven't read the other responses to your question yet to see if anyone else has offered this, but for my money, I'd forget conversion and just write from scratch. I even prefer this method when moving from 6.5 to 7.6.
There are just so, so many things you can do in 7.6 that the time you spend fussing with the conversion of an older form is just wasted time.
