Paul,

>From the terminal server session it is normal to see the "redirected". Can
you print a test page to the local printer from the terminal server session?

If not, then you know it is unrelated to your R:Base.

I have run into this recently, but it has been with HP printers. I have had
to download latest updates of the drivers and uninstall and re-install and
that has taken care of most of the problems, but there were a few stubborn
ones that I just swapped out the printers.

I haven't had the problem with Brother or Dell printers.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Printing Using Terminal Server & Server 2008

I hope I can explain this well enough here. I am using the latest build of
eXtreme 9.1 (64 bit), Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7. I setup Remote
Desktop Services on the server and I am connecting using Remote Desktop from
the Windows 7 Clients. When I try to print from Rbase it won't print to any
printer that shows as "redirected" only those with that distinction. I am
trying to print on a local printer on one of the PC's while in the Remote
Desktop session and the only printer in the list that is the "local" one
also has the redirected following the name and so it isn't printing.

Has anyone seen this and been able to fix it? I Googled this and found some
suggestions but so far, none of them have worked.

Thanks in advance,

Paul Buckley
