No, probably not.  Unless the current SonicWall box is aging and
technology in the new box is sufficiently an upgrade to operate faster.
Speed being improved by technology, not by going from 100 to 1000.  T1
is still far below the current SonicWall box capacity.

The subject is not totally correct.

 

My whole network has computers with 1GB cards in them and my switch is
also 1GB.

We have a T1 line coming in to the company, protected by a 100MB Sonic
Wall appliance.

 

All you byte savvy tech guys, will I see a upload/download improvement
if I replace my

100MB Sonic Wall with a 1GB Sonic Wall?
