You may get a performance boost by changing out the T1. At least in our area Comcast and Verizon FIOS offer business internet at much greater speed for less than a T1 costs. I recently saw a Comcast ad for 100mbps for 199/month, your T1 is probably at 1.5mbps.

Unless the current SonicWall box is aging and technology in the new box is sufficiently an upgrade to operate faster. Speed being improved by technology, not by going from 100 to 1000. T1 is still far below the current SonicWall box capacity. My whole network has computers with 1GB cards in them and my switch is also 1GB. We have a T1 line coming in to the company, protected by a 100MB Sonic Wall appliance. All you byte savvy tech guys, will I see a upload/download improvement if I replace my 100MB Sonic Wall with a 1GB Sonic Wall? Jan
