Try to have them set back to the default windows printer before the preview
window comes up.
Something like this:
SET VAR VPRINTER TEXT = (CVAL('WINDOWSPRINTER'))
PRNSETUP .VPRINTER
PRINT reportname .....

Karen –
Did you ever find a cause/solution for the blank report print preview screen in
9.1?
We still have not found a fix.

Yeah, I'd like to hear about this too... One client's been sitting on 9.1 for
quite a while. We have it in a testing environment for them (conversion
from 7.6) and the only problem we've found so far is exactly what you say
-- that you can print a report once, but if you try to print it again you get
the
blank screen. Exiting RBase and coming back in works. And it works
perfectly on some machines, and screws up on others... All running XP.
We haven't been able to pin it down yet. So they're still on 7.6.....

When they request a certain report they are presented the "Print Preview"
window.
It shows the 9 print buttons along the top of the window (print, whole page,
page width etc), but no report below.
Just white space.
So it sounds like a local workstation setting.
I was hoping someone had run into this before and could direct me somewhere to
start looking.
All workstations are running Windows XP.
