Nope, no rbengine95_32.dll on the server or local C: drive.
I searched for rbeng*.* and did find the 7.6 dll's & configs on the server.

If you're using the -a switch then the .dll must be in the same directory
as the RBase exe files

The first installation attempt was indeed an incorrect "full
installation" from a VPN remote workstation targeting an RBASE95 folder
on the remote server. The VPN was slow, so rather than rerun the
install again, we shipped the 9.5 installation CD to be onsite.
With the RB CD on-site, I ran the installation from a workstation on the
LAN and did select "Server Installation" (per section 2.5) from the
components dialog, targeting the same RBASE95 folder on the server. The
installation was incomplete as mentioned below.
I then did an uninstall from the Control Panel and manually deleted all
9 files from the RBASE95 folder, then tried to install again - without
success.
There are no error messages during installation, although the
installation goes pretty quickly - commensurate with the number of files
found in the RBASE95 folder.
Any other clues for the blues?
