We have had intermittent outages of our internet connection all day.
Rbase automatically sends customers invoices and ship-notices via
email. Several times today R:base hung up because it could not make
a connection to the internet.
Is there any way to have Rbase check for a good connection before
initiating these e-mails ?
I'm hoping.
Dick,
Did you know that now you can use a new GETPROPERTY command parameter
to check whether or not the computer is connected to the Internet?
Here's how:
SET VAR vResult TEXT = NULL
GETPROPERTY APPLICATION IsInternetConnected vResult
Resulting "vResult" variable will return the value of YES or NO.
Using this approach, you can now build higher intelligence into
your R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32/64) applications.
Have fun!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
