I had the computer tech do it when I bought the laptop, so I have no
idea. I specified Win 7, and it came that way but the drivers are Win 8.
Here's a link that might help
Win 8 to Win 7 <http://www.wikihow.com/Downgrade-Windows-8-to-Windows-7>

I'm using Win 7 Pro - available as an option within Win 8.1. It's rock

I like Win 8 more than Win 7. If you're running any DOS apps,

Any suggestions for upgrading an old HP laptop (XP) to a new Windows
7/8 laptop?
I have still another user on my MS word office so I may need a cd drive.
TIA,
Dennis
