When you work primarily from the Desktop in 8, you will only find the
nuisance part when you are messing with the tile interface, which I do not
very often.

I have 7 on my desktop and 8.1 on the laptop and even with the option to
downgrade, I just went with 8.1 and I don't feel any uncontrollable urge to
change it.
