putting the Database on its own server. Win 7 has been a hassle from
day 1. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Have you considered the option of running your entire R:BASE eXtreme
9.5 (64) database/application on MS 2012R2 cloud server environment?
You also have the option to run your entire R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (64)
database/application on MS 2012R2 as Remote Desktop environment to
take advantage of the actual server.
