{}-->                Also, the Windows environment variable for the current
user’s home (profile root) directory is USERPROFILE.  If you issue a command
like CD %USERPROFILE%\Desktop you will change to the current user’s desktop.
You can do the same thing with the copy command:    COPY
<SOURCEPATH>\<SOURCEFILE> %USERPROFILE%\DESKTOP Or COPY
<SOURCEPATH>\<SOURCEFILE> %USERPROFILE%\DESKTOP\<DESTINATIONFILE> (if you want
to rename the file).

Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: Desktop    Normally the default path is
c:\user\username    At this point I would just copy the file like this
R:>COPY filename.txt c:desktop\filename.txt    Another way would be    R:>COPY
filename.txt c:\user\username\desktop\filename.txt    Hope this helps    Buddy

know you can output c:\whatever, but what is the command to send to desktop
