SET VAR vphone TEXT = '8001234567'
SET VAR vptest TEXT = (FORMAT(.vphone, '(%%%)^%%%-%%%%'))
Then vptest = (800)^123-4567
I don't know how to insert a space in the string using a simple FORMAT command.
