Dear Mike,
I have noticed this before but have not been too worried about it as it only
happened in one or two circumstances.
It is fairly easily to reproduce.
I have NULL set to a single blank space.
I go into a form which has two rows in a tiered region, in this case addresses.
In the first field I press [Ctrl]+[x] to delete the row to scrap and the
umlauted ys appear.
I cannot remember where else I was able to duplicate it in scenarios other
than the
tiered region. In other words if I go into another form without tiered
regions and press
[Ctrl]+[x] in a text field the umlauted ys do not appear, I just see the
cursor blinking.
As you have observed the data integrity is not compromised or otherwise
misrepresented.
I have no rbase.ini or rbase.cfg files in the working directory, they are
in the directory
with the RBG65.exe.
Hope this confirmation assists you and RBTI.
