RE: can't print

OS is Win 2000... and a batch file captures the printing on startup ....   I keep getting an error message that says the Rbase.msg file is wrong.....   Janet   >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 07/17/01 01:36PM >>> Hi Janet,   Rbase for DOS prints to LPT1.  It sounds like LPT1 is not connected to a printer port on your machine.   You didn't say what operating system your computer is using...  Are you on NT or Win 9x?  Or ME?  or 2000?   On NT you can use the NET USE command....   at a DOS prompt you could type  NET USE /?    and you'll see the syntax.   On Win 9x you can right click the printer icon and find a spot to capture the printer port.
