Razzak :

I have to come back on this mail that is about 3 weeks old, because I had
yesterday a new problem similar to the previous ones.

Client, hardware and configuration are differents, but Dr Watson error and
circonstances are similars, and app is unchanged.

I sent a new Dr Watson's log file to RDCC, and I would higly appreciate any
help.

The problem hapenned about 10 times during 1 hour, but I could't duplicate
it some hours later.

Each time, I was updating a table with a form.
Table is small (about 10 rows 10 columns) and the form simple.

>>
Obviously, the problem is with your application or coding method.
<<

It does not seems so obvious to me ....
Remember that the same app works OK on W95/98 and most NT OS.
And the problem is difficult to duplicate ...

>>
01. How many RUN statements you have in your WHILE loop?
<<

Very few. I use QUIT TO each time it is possible.

>>
02. What is the default setting for FILES?
<<

Default value (5)

>>
02. Are you changing the data type within a WHILE loop?
<<

Never.

>>
03. Are you CLEARing any required variable(s) within WHILE loop?
<<

Never.

>>
04. Have you tried using the cool technique of using QUIT TO
instead of RUN? (my preferred technique ...)
<<

Of course.
I had a very good teacher that told me to do so in Switzerland .....
I use RUN only when I need to return at the next command (like PERFORM in
COBOL).

I will send you a private mail with my code and a sample DB so you can see
my form.

I will greatly appreciate RDCC to watch Dr Watson log files that was sent
on July 20 and the new ones sent today.

I am in big trouble and I need RBTI help.

TIA
