This week, I visited 2 clients to install the same APP with the DB structure (RBW 6.5++ build 1.842xRT03). Both clients have NT 4.0 SP 5. App is installed on the local disk : network is only used to share printers. Client 1 have a very old (and very sloooowwww) FUJI station with 192 Mb RAM (probably a Pentium 100). When using severals forms, most of them very simples, I got severals messages such as : 'Instruction 0x0044e665 use adress 0x0167d692' 'Memory cannot be writen'. or 'Instruction 0x0074aecd use adress 0x47b8734e' 'Memory cannot be read' Rbw is closed and control return to NT. This hapenned about every hour ... Sometimes, the problem happen during a DB update resulting a corrupted DB. As this client did't installed Dr Watson, I have no more informations, but I have a list of process running at problem time. Client 2 have a 1 or 2 years old HP Vectra with 128 Mb RAM. Same app, same RBW and NT versions .... no problem all day round ... Only datas are differents .... Any idea ? This problem have been reported several times here and at RDCC, without any success ....
