David,
This is the only computer that does this corruption.
I put the old computer back and took this one offline until I can figure out what to do.
Would rights be different for a w2k client than for the other win98 & win95 clients?

I copy the backup server6 file onto the real one, then exit, then click the icon to get back in and all is ok.  If I exit and then click the icon to come back in, I get the above message.
Then I do the copy, exit, back in and all is well.  I can repeat this procedure many times.
Any ideas why this is happening?>>

My first guess would be to check rights to the directory where server6.rbg is.  Sounds like the file is not getting closed out correctly when you exit R:Base.

Just replaced a W98 machine with a w2k.
Every other time it connects it corrupts the server6.rbg file.
