I am going to respond to you again, now that I have read the complete original 
message.

Scanning one page at a time is an issue with the scanning software.  We scan 
one page at a time because that is how the software for our HP scanners works.
 I have never tried to do multiple pages at once.  I am going to forward this 
message to my resident scanning expert John Garst and get his opinion.
