Dennis I don't know how much you know about VB but I have a VB program that creates thumbnails of a dir and you can click on the thumbnail and it opens lets whatever program the files extension is associated with open it.
Clarifying a bit more.. this is not actually my program but some code I d/l from somewhere across the net.. I have been thinking that I some VB code that associates whatever file extension with your program. If these were incorporated together then you could use RBase's SET CLIPBOARD command, the LAUNCH command to start you new VB app that would get the location from the clipboard and away you would go..
