Lynn, You could still have the possibility of different rbase.cfg in different directories. Make sure you only have 1 and put it in the Windows directory. If your rbase.cfg file is not on the path when your application tries to access the ODBC connection, you will have problems. You may be having problems from the limited version of the ODBC driver you are using???
Try connecting to a database that does not have any other users in it and see if that works. I use Excel to test my ODBC connection on machines that have problems. If it works in Excel, you either have an incompatibility problem, or some setting in the other software needs to be tweeked.
