Set a text variable filled with space characters the width of your report,
and write it to the page from the point at which you wish to clear to the
number of lines per page.
e.g.
-- create blank line
SET VAR vspaces = (SFIL(' ',80))
-- start line to clear; assumes vlpp is lines per page
SET VAR vstart = 40
WRITE .vspaces AT .vstart,1
WHILE (vstart < .vlpp) THEN
SET VAR vstart = (.vstart + 1)
WRITE .vspaces AT .vstart,1
ENDWHILE
