Set a text variable filled with space characters the width of your report,
and write it to the page from the point at which you wish to clear to the
number of lines per page.
e.g.
-- create blank line
SET VAR vspaces = (SFIL(' ',80))
-- start line to clear; assumes vlpp is lines per page
SET VAR vstart = 40
WRITE .vspaces AT .vstart,1
WHILE (vstart < .vlpp) THEN
SET VAR vstart = (.vstart + 1)
WRITE .vspaces AT .vstart,1
ENDWHILE
<<
This don't work for me (using RBW 6.5++ build 1.851xRT03)
Seems that RBW don't WRITE spaces into PAGEMODE buffer memory.
Any other char. works OK
e.g. (SFIL('- ',80))
but lines filled with spaces are not writen.
Same for CHAR(32) ...
So, my problem remain unsolved : How to erase part of a page that has been
builded in PAGEMODE memory ?
Any more idea ?
