Windows Rbase will not even display the long names when you use the DIR
command at the R prompt; it will display the long name as a description a
the right of the screen (after size, date and time)...mmmm maybe Patch 3?

How do you get it to list long file names using this option???

I can't believe that the latest and greatest version of rbase
can't deal with long file names. They've only been around for
what -- about 7-8 plus years now?
