  Since you have a space did you try putting quotes around 
  launch 'c:\dir\word.doc /macroname'

I presently use a zip command to open a word document/run a word macro.
I don't see how to replace that with a launch command as the macro
portion doesn't work (launch c:\dir\word.doc /macroname).  Too bad, that
launch command sure is cool!
