Using The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows:
At the mighty R> prompt, try:
GATEWAY EXPORT XLS3 filename.xls SELECT * FROM tablename
or
GATEWAY EXPORT XLS4 filename.xls SELECT * FROM tablename
2002 R:BASE Developer's Conference CD also includes SpreadSt.RMD
to fully automate XLS export routines, including the column headings!
The Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows includes the GUI Import/Export
utilities for MS Excel Spread Sheet and MS Excel Workbook.
