I have never gotten export to excel 5.0 to work since R:Base version 6.1. I have gotten export Excel 4.0 to work though.
There is no easy way to do column names as headers. When I tried to open the file with Excel 2000 (9.0.3821 SR-1) I got the following error message: "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shutdown. If the problem persist, contact the program vendor" I am running Window 98SE and Rbase 6.5++ Build 1.855XRT03. I would say the problem is reproducible and probably a bug. I replaced the string XLS5 with DB4, and Excel opened the file perfectly, but of course the column Identifiers were Col_1, Col_2, etc. Is it me? -- Albert Berry Full Time Consultant to PSD Solutions 350 West Hubbard, Suite 210 Chicago, IL 60610 312-828-9253 Ext. 32 __________________________________________________________________ The NEW Netscape 7.0 browser is now available.
