I do recall using (Char(0)) + (Char(92)) ... (Char(0)) + (Char(95))
in the good 'ole days of DOS and RB4.5+
When I tried this, the result produced a <CR> advancing to the next field
after the PLAYBACK.
While looking at the WRITE statement syntax, I discovered a new option:
WRITE .var TO {filename}
I was excited to think this may be what I was looking for, but my hopes were
dashed when I found the command did not work as specified in the on-line
help.
