I want to print a report for multiple transactions in a credit card
database. I have selected the identifying codes of those transactions
using:
CHOOSE vlist FROM #VALUES FOR DISTINCT trans FROM ccTABLE
My variable vLIST is now equal to a list of codes separated by commas. I
can put parentheses around these values using:
Set VAR vResult =('('+(.vLIST)+')')
If the values are INTEGERS, I can easily print my report where transaction
is IN that dataset:
PRINT ccREPORT WHERE trans IN &vresult
However, if the column TRANS is a text field, I don't see how I can put
quotes around each value to make this same scenario work. Solutions?
Thanks!
Cheryl
