Razzak, Thank you for the reply. Option 1 of your reply will do one file at a time. Is there a way, like declaration of a cursor that you can have a list of files that meet the criteria (sel filename from list where extension = gif) and then do an insert until SQL = 100? Lastly, I am trying to get the path and filename from the recorded Blob. Is there a way to get that out of the stored row of data?

You can write a command file or EEP to look for *.GIF files, using the: CHOOSE vFile FROM #LFILES IN *.GIF AT..TITLE..CAPTION..LINES..FORMATTED and then use the INSERT command to load all VARBIT BLOB file(s) into table Take a look at: From the Edge: Storing Pictures or Graphics as BLOB http://www.razzak.com/fte (Blobs) 07/05/1999 Using the Form, you can also use "Double-Click" on VARBIT field to load BLOB data. 02. The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows, does not support animated GIFs. The Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows includes the built-in support for ALL graphic files, including "Animated GIFs". Form Designer > Additional Controls > Animated GIF Control R:BASE 7.0 for Windows also includes a cool Note/Varchar/Blob Field Viewer/Editor! Very Best Regards, Razzak.
