Based on a majority of opinions here I am forging ahead with learning postgres even though it is for the most part way more powerful than I need at this point. I'm looking for something basic. A simple relational db. What I'm most interested in is which of the datatypes I mostly need to concern myself with. Something REAL SQL or MySQL ish. Can't seem to find anything along those lines. Thanks.
