Dear R:Base Friends

Yet another reason to be thankful for how well RBTI listens to us.
Many of us have been testing the next build of R:Base 7.1, build
77 which looks great. A lovely new feature has been added to the
installer: for those of your clients who are using the -A startup
option there is now a "Server update" button that places all the
files in the server directory where you tell them to go.

Thanks Razzak and the Dream Team!

David,

As always, the pleasure is all mine.

And THANKS to all Pre-Release Beta Testers for helping us!

As of 08/27/2004, among the thirty-six bug fixes and eleven
enhancements in the upcoming update 77 (the longest RBG7 in-line
update ever tested), we have introduced the following noteworthy
enhancements:

01. New low level I/O routines (RBIO.DLL) for improved performance.

02. Speedy DB ComboBox/ListBox and Variable ComboBox/ListBox

03. Updated Installer with two options: [Typical] and [Server]

The [Typical] button on the Update Installer will install all
files in appropriate directories for you, automatically. This
is the traditional and recommended method with typical
    installation.

The [Server] button on the Update Installer will extract all
update files in the selected folder, if you wish. In that case,
the user will be responsible to update all files in appropriate
directories. This option is helpful when all required files are
in one directory on the server to use RBG7.EXE -A startup option.

Enjoy and make sure to have fun!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
