Javier, this is a quick - and non-personal - response without checking any facts...
As far I remember no such offer for a course including license was offered in the UK and certainly not to me. Whether I would have taken it is another matter... I have no problem with protecting "intellectual rights" - I have had 2 licensed copies for almost as long as I can remember: a company one, now lapsed; and a private one, still current. (Note to everyone: "private" is my own personal money - not company money, not somebody else's money but my money: earned, taxed and spent with RBTI (via Aspen Software) and Microrim since around 1985. I know that a single user/single seat is worthless in RBTI's view but that's what I am.) I happen not to have wanted to agree to the terms offered for pre-release - as is my right - and so I did not pay nor sign. In my experience, response is either one end of the scale or the other - which, in many ways, is more frustrating than almost any other combination. Be all of that as it may, I could not let the facts be misrepresented: beta testing was not an option in my case and I brought my personal copy at the first opportunity.
