I will probably continue until my turntable fails or the needle wears out.
So if you perfect your "RMusicVinylToUncompressedDigital", please send me a copy.

So, uhm, Mike, you've had what, 10 minutes since the subject came up? You must
be about done with the new plugin "RMusicVinylToCloseToUncompressedDigital"?
Just kidding, Mike. Thanks for the advice.

Can I recommend that when you convert the music that you do not store it in a compressed format. Since storage is so cheap ( I have a 4 disk IDE/Firewire box of about 800Gig capacity w/ less than $800 invested), when ever I store this type of media, I keep it as close to uncompressed as the copying technology will allow, then I compress it for transfer in an appropriate to use size..
Also, since some of your stuff is going to have some defect, you should work on removing the hiss/pop stuff at the uncompressed level anyway....
