The view is indeed sorted by company_name, invoice_nb, however when I create a variable listbox based on the view, it is no longer sorted and no other 'order by' makes it right (edi using formname ord by company_name, invoice_nb gets the same unordered result as edi using formname). I did move the fields around as they were placed in the listbox, so I'm being lazy <g> and instead of trying to change it, I'm wondering if that could be the problem... Claudine :)
