I can't seem to find any information on DupRow.eep but if you go to the Default Value area of the field property and add in #DUP for the value pressing [F2] the value will be duplicated in the nextrow.
Currently the only way I know how to sort columns in a where builder is to create your own. If you take a look at the fall conference 2004 CD I have an example form of a customwherebuilder. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of McClure, Cheryl Posted At: Friday, February 04, 2005 12:21 PM Posted To: RB7-L Conversation: [RBG7-L] - RE: Configuration File / Where Builder / Duprow.eep questions Subject: [RBG7-L] - RE: Configuration File / Where Builder / Duprow.eep questions Thanks for your reply, Fran. I tried deleting my RBengine.cfg file. When I went back into R:BASE and tried to go to the configuration menu I got the error message that R:BASE could not find \RBengine.cfg. I guess that means it didn't rebuild it. I did find my configuration problem though. I'll share my error in case it might help someone else in the future. It finally dawned on me to look for an RBASE.DAT file that could be causing the error. I found a five year old file that had been copied over when the old 6.5 database was being converted to 7.1. It was setting those two items off! After deleting the file, I can now run with the configuration I need. The reason the other users didn't have the problem was that their target directory was slightly different from mine and did not point to the folder containing the RBASE.DAT file. Now if someone can help me with sorting the Where Builder and the Duprow.eep I'll be able to get on with my other bug squashing. Rbase will rebuild it when you open the file the next time. For some reason it does get corrupt. John at Rbase has helped me with that before. This problem does not affect all R:BASE users on our network (only 2) and does not happen on my laptop. If I make a change to the configuration under the display tab by checking ERROR MESSAGES and STATUS MESSAGES then save the changes, the changes are in effect while that session of R:BASE is open. If I close and reopen R:BASE the changes have been lost. I checked to see if I had multiple copies of RBENGINE.CFG on my C drive. I did have three extra copies from R:BASE conference presentations so I renamed them and tried to edit my configuration file again. It still is not saving my changes. What am I missing?
