Hi David   You know what an EXPERT is   Well   X is the unknown factor   and   SPURT is a drip under pressure.   I love this joke.   In my 20 years with R:BASE I have never had a date sort problem. Are you doing the sort at R> ? If you have the full date specified  dd-mm-yyyy then you should type in the full date not abbreviated dd-mm-yy. If you do it in code its not a problem.   Maybe your sort command is not correct.
