That seems worth following up on.  I'll let everyone know what happens.

I have seen this once or twice.  I haven't tracked down the exact combination
of factors that cause it to occur, but I believe you can effect the behavior by
ensuring that the variables used in the footers do NOT exist before running the
report.  If they do exist it appears to me that in certain circumstance R:Base
will not clear them between report runs, even if that option is checked.

I name all my report variables rvVarName and so, before printing a report, I
issue CLEAR VAR rv%.
