I'm trying to use the MapiMail plugins to help send automatic emails when a record is entered into a table.
I have gotten the program code to work using MAPIMAIL3.RBL. I format my request, call the RBL, get the R:Base mail screen, click send (without making and changes), answer Yes when asked if I want to allow another program to use Outlook to send mail, and the mail is sent. Unfortunately, when I change it to MAPIMAIL4.RBL (so that the email is sent completely without user intervention) I get the message "Error on initializing Plugin: MapiMail4.RBL". Oddly enough, this happens AFTER Outlook has warned me that another program is trying to use it to send mail. So I think the RBL is executing and calling Outlook and Outlook is returning some kind of an error. Do I have to format the options differently when calling MapiMail4 versus MapiMail3? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. -- Larry
