OK,
thank you Scott and Razzak for your input on this matter... The labels now print one at a time, but how do i rotate my variables so that they print correctly on the form?
My variables are ok, in that they appear in multiple other reports and labels--but here are my results.
With label settings in RB7 set to portrait & printer set to landscape, Data displays correctly, but i get one inch of three labels printing per label
With RB7 set to portrait and printer set to portrait, I get the same results.**see example below
With RB7 set to landscape & printer set to landscape, I get no data displayed in designer, preview or print.
I hope the simple solution is that i am retarded and missing something obvious.
thank you tom

Good morning and my apologies if this posts--trying to look for instructions on making the Dymo Label maker to work with RBASE. ...I know i saw this posted.
Tom,
Here you go ...
To print one label at a time on roll, you would need a printer to support labels on a roll, such as DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo-USB.
If that is the case, then, first you need to setup the printer and then use the "Custom" Paper Size option of Label > Page Setup.
Here are a few tips (based on my experience using Dymo LabelWriter with "R:Capture", the first vertical market RBG7 application): http://www.rcapture.com
01. By default, the Dymo Label Printer is installed for "Portrait" Printing. You need to change the printer default to print as "Landscape".
Here's how:
If installed properly on Windows 2000/XP Workstation, you should be able to see the DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo-USB as one of the listed printer in Windows Printer Configuration Panel.
Start | Settings | Printers
You'll need to update the Printing Preferences of DYMO LabelWriter 330 Tubo-USB printer as following:
01. Right-Click on DYMO LabelWriter 330 Tubo-USB printer icon 02. Select Printing Preferences... 03. Change Orientation to Landscape 04. Click on [Advanced] button for Advanced Properties 05. Change the properties as following: Paper Size: 99014 Shipping Copy Count: 1 Copy Advanced Printing Features: Enabled Halftoning: Super Cell Printer Quality: Barcodes and Graphics Print Quality: Normal
Click on [OK] when done
06. Click on [Apply] button to save and then click on [OK] to save Printing Preferences.
02. Once the printer is setup accordingly, now you can use the R:BASE 7.1 for Windows Labels to print one label at a time on a roll!
03. Use "Custom" option to set the height and width of label.
That's all there is to it.
Enjoy and make sure to have fun!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
