John,   With a Scrolling Region, rather than a DBGrid, I have noticed when moving from any row to any other row that the data in the moved to row momentarily shows the data as that from the row moved from before showing the correct data.   I have always assumed that it was to do with variables being calculated and/or the display being updated but it can be a little disconcerting.
