John,

With a Scrolling Region, rather than a DBGrid, I have noticed when moving from any row to any other row that the data in the moved to row momentarily shows the data as that from the row moved from before showing the correct data.

I have always assumed that it was to do with variables being calculated and/or the display being updated but it can be a little disconcerting. As I recollect, it's been that way from when I started using s/r in v7 but I think that I must have learned to blink at that moment now because I hardly notice it any more.

Regards,
Alastair.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - RE: Data Has Been Changed by Another User Since Last Refresh. Do You Want To Save Changes. (V7.5.8.30626)

Thanks for the reminder Claudine – I had downloaded the update but not installed it on my laptop, which is what I am using at present. However I am now up to date and will see what happens.

Thanks also Adrian – I have the refresh command in the On Exit from DBGrid Column EEP.

The other problem I have occasionally with the DBGrid is that for some reason, when scrolling, a number of rows all display the same data (when infact they are different) – this goes away if you scroll further – has anyone else encountered this, which occurs in 7.1 and  7.5 (and has done with this particular form for some time) ?

I have this message appearing while using a form, with a DBGrid. I am the only user. This topic was raised previously on 3/10/2005 and apparently addressed at the time by RBTI. Is there something else that may be causing this ?
