Yes. Click once to focus on the next table and row and then again to focus on the column. Similar to buttons in another region which may require three clicks to run the eep. In any event, I have a similar form where a double click in a column brings up a popup menu and the cursor is visible whereas in this form the cursor is only visible if I go to another column first (or click on a blank area in the scrolling region). I wasn't able to determine why.
Javier (and others) have recommended dumping all Enter forms and bring up everything in an Edit form. I agree and see a lot of work but will eventually make the application easier to use.
Hmmm. For PK tables, ask the user for the value first and then have them fill up the remainder of the form in Edit mode. More on this later I guess.

Dennis,
I believe this happens when you're using the form in enter mode (vs edit
mode). It's been discussed before and I don't think it was considered a
bug (or it would have been fixed). It has to do with 'clicking' instead
of tabbing or entering into the field. I think the click sets focus on
the region, but not the field. Maybe the row really isn't there until
you 'enter' or tab into it. Oddly enough, if you click on the region
without clicking on any field, the focus goes to the first field. So
maybe that makes it a bug....I don't know. Run it by RBTI, I guess. All
of my users are "data entry" people, who don't touch the mouse unless
there's no way of getting there with the keyboard. So it's never been a
concern.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Can't focus
RB7.1
On a two table form with scrolling region, after completing the PK row
and I click on the first column in the first row (in the scrolling
region), there is no cursor. If I type, I am in the the first column.
There is a column popup but it doesn't work unless the cursor is
present. If I click in another column and click back, there is a cursor
in the first column.
I've tried Set Focus, delete and reenter the dbedit column, remove all
eep's etc., but no luck. Any/all suggestions and/or workarounds are
welcome.
