John:

Just a couple of suggestions. Keep the report simple, no fancy formats. Also, make sure that the data is not arranged tight, leave plenty of space between fields. I have found that it is difficult to retain the format, in one instance, I ended up creating a temporary table, populated it with code and then exported it to an Excel spreadsheet; it worked pretty well for what I needed.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Exporting Reports to Excel Files - 7.5

I am having some difficulty getting reports exported to XLS files to accurately reflect the information in the report. I gathered from an earlier post that this was an area that was still being ‘enhanced’.  If anyone has any tips on how to set up a report to increase the accuracy of the final file XLS they would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Regards,
