While swapping some bits around on the Hilsen this past weekend, I remembered that I'd wanted to swap pulleys on the rear derailleur. The upper pulley has lateral float by design, which there's no need for if you are using a friction system. Not sure that I could tell much difference. Maybe it felt a hair more positive. Might be worth a try. Now, I just have to remember to swap them back in the unlikely case that I ever change back to a non-adjustable shifting system. - Jim -- Jim Edgar [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2009 Current Classic Calendars now ready for order! - http://www.cyclofiend.com/calendar Cyclofiend Bicycle Photo Galleries - http://www.cyclofiend.com Current Classics - Cross Bikes Singlespeed - Working Bikes Send In Your Photos! - Here's how: http://www.cyclofiend.com/guidelines "There were messengers who named their bikes, but Chevette never would have done that, and somehow because she did think about it like it was something alive."
