I converted my Haluzak SWB recumbent from 559 to 584 simply by moving
the pads out to the most extreme setting on the Shimano DeOre LX
V-brake. Works fine. I did this conversion in order to get the same
nice fat and wide tires that I have on my Bleriot - Velocity Synergy
asym rims and Panaracer col de la Vie. I recently upgraded to the
Fatty Rumpkins I couldn't get to fit the Bleriot under Homjos. Very
satisfied with the ride and also get a little bump up on speed at a
given cadence.
