Actually, yes, I have ridden the AHH on a group ride where I'm keeping pace with people at 20mph. I don't find that it's an issue with the accelarations that you see on that type of ride. The only time that I really feel I'd be at a serious disadvantage is if I was doing a ride/race in a pack where there were multiple turns, where you're constantly slowing and accelerating. This is where my racing bike would be a better choice. From the videos and pics I've seen during this discussion, I don't believe that the AHH or a bike of its kind would be a disadvantage in those particular races. For me, the true disadvantage would be the engine, not the bike.
