I've been rolling on Hetres for over a year and they're plenty tough
in my experience.  no flats, and they've seen some knarly stuff.

I still prefer the 650b GB cypres on the road, but the Hetre is nice
too - in fact, I'll be riding the NE Fleche on Hetres this weekend -
225 miles of cush.

It's not as fast as the cypres, and feels a bit ponderous on the road,
especially when climbing - but, for me, it still beats the feel of the
CdlV, Maxy Fasty and Nifty Swifty.  and the Hetre is really fun to
ride on the limit!  cornering on those things a blast!
